The Mixed Blood People with Disabilities Advisory Council invites you to a night of original performances and fundraising. Mix, mingle, enjoy art and learn how to support this work.
We are raising funds so that we can host a fully accessible open mic nights that spotlights disabled artists and storytellers while exploring how climate, housing, and mental health impact the lived experience of people with disabilities, especially those living at the intersection of race & gender identity.
Resources Needed:
ASL interpreters, live captions, plain language materials, zoom accessibility, mobility paths, sensory tools for neurodivergent communities, masks, and audio description.

- Support disability audiences and artists
- Deepen authentic representation for people with disabilities
- Broaden our base and network of disability artists, audiences, and advocates
- Incorporating nature and healing for people with and without disabilities
- Highlight the intersectionality of diverse experiences
- Analyze topics through the lens of disability not “ableism”
- Cultivate complex stories featuring people with disabilities for the stage
