In this performance, Katie Ka Vang will examine the experiences of those that interact with the Little Mekong business district. Using hand-crafted butterflies as both art piece and metaphor, this performance will explore the question, “What lifts up our community?”

Katie Ka Vang is a Hmong American Playwright and theater maker. Her work magnifies the nuances of communities + cultures and explores diaspora and disease. Her work is grounded in the heart and aims for systems change.
