Operation Metro Surge changed the ways communities respond to crises. In the face of ICE activity, Minnesotans used support networks, community fundraisers, and rapid response groups to offer direct aid and protection.

The heightened chaos of ICE may be over — for now — but the impacts of the surge continue. So, what happens next with the community networks you formed? The food drop-offs and rideshares, The group chats and Go Fund Me’s.
