Equitable Dinners brings together strangers and friends from diverse backgrounds to experience theatre, share a meal, and talk about complex issues.
Our newest Equitable Dinner focuses on voting rights featuring the talented Melanie Wehrmacher.
This fun new play Let’s Save Democracy! offers helpful tips and up to date accurate information about how to protect your vote and support your community. Plus it was written by our very own Alejandro Tey!
Now in its third year, the Equitable Dinners program offers three world premiere plays exploring voting rights, healing from Metro Surge, and climate successes. Originally developed by Out of Hand Theatre in Atlanta, GA, this series of plays are performed in people’s houses and community venues. Each event consists of a short play, a shared meal, and a facilitated discussion.
