MOLLY@MIXEDBLOOD.COM

Molly (she/her) started at Mixed Blood in October 2019. As the Program Assistant, she provides administrative support for engagement and artistic programming, as well as for development and general operations. Molly was raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, with a degree in music business. While in Des Moines, Molly developed a love for nonprofit arts engagement, taking the lead on a grassroots advocacy campaign, assisting in research efforts to define and improve the local creative economy, and finding a love for fundraising through her efforts with several nonprofit organizations. She moved to Minneapolis in March of 2019 and quickly found a love for this city. Molly hopes to continue in nonprofit fundraising endeavors, working to find creative solutions to current and future fundraising challenges, recognizing development as one of the most crucial elements for a non-profit to thrive. She is delighted to be working with Mixed Blood Theatre at the intersection of her values and passions: social justice, civic engagement, and artistic expression.

WHY MIXED BLOOD:

“I am so blessed to be working for an organization that puts their money where their mouth is. While many organizations may preach equity and inclusion, Mixed Blood actually makes it a priority and a reality through its programming and hospitality. How cool is that?”
