12X12 Update
We are now a third of the way through our 12×12 series of community events and we are having a ball!
- Alison Bergblom Johnson and an ensemble of artists with disabilities shared personal stories and reflections in the Powderhorn Gym,
- The Subversive Sirens splashed with the Phillips community in a trio of joyous synchronized swim routines,

- and Reinaldo Moya composed 4 new songs inspired by the history of Northeast Minneapolis at Art-A-Whirl in Logan Park.
Come join us for the next 4 community celebrations, where
- Yia Vang will help you to create the new meal of Brooklyn Center in the Brooklyn Center Community Center,
- Bryce Burton will present stories and drawings inspired by body reclamation and body affirmation within the Trans/Non-binary community during Pride in Loring Park,
- Katie Ka Vang will share the butterflies that lift up the Little Mekong community at XIA gallery and cafe,
- and Ernest Briggs and Johanna Keller Flores will dramatize the stories of residents from St. Paul’s West Side neighborhood at the Wellstone Center
